How do TEFL CHINA courses compare to online TEFL courses?
Taking an online TEFL course can be great if you don’t have time to attend a 4 week course. You can take an online course from anywhere in the world at any time. However, taking an online course has two great disadvantages.
1. The most important component of any serious TEFL programme is ‘Observed’ and ‘Real’ teaching practice. Some online courses may require you to have access to students and they will give you feedback after having received your own evaluation. This, however, does not substitute for the real thing and this leaves many online - TEFL graduates under-qualified.
2. Most employers will only hire applicant that can demonstrate that they have an internationally recognised teaching qualification and sufficient experience. As a result, online TEFL graduates often have difficulties finding a well-paid teaching job.
TEFL CHINA provides trainees with such a solid base in teaching skills, techniques and practice that they will have no trouble finding work worldwide.
We can give you the tools that you need to become an independent, confident and competent teacher in just 4 weeks.
