I've just completed my TEFL course at TEFL China in Yangshuo I'm pleased to say I feel a much more confident teacher now.
Having spent several years teaching I was a little bit reluctant to do a course which most people do before starting to teach, however on the first day I felt at ease and realised that the course is designed for both those who are new to teaching as well as experienced teachers seeking to improve their skills.
Already having some teaching experience I wanted to choose a course that would allow me to develop my teaching skills as well as give me the necessary certificate to become qualified to teach English. I felt the course suited my situation perfectly. The course itself was well structured and there was a good balance of: teaching methods; how to teach the subject; teaching practice and feedback after teaching. The consistent observation and feedback helped my improve greatly and I'd certainly recommend the course to other potential and experienced teachers! Thanks again. |
